Everyone loves Vinny!

After a long cozy hibernation in our wine cellar, Vinny (our Bear) is back in the Bear Garden. Stop by for a visit, he is friendly, and loves children. Vinny is the creation of local artist Chris Osborne. He is painted with many of our local wild animals. See if you can spot them all...deer, bob cat, rabbit, blue bird and bear. ICE WINE HARVEST

On December 8th, with a bone chilling temperature of 12 degrees fahrenheit, we hand picked our Vidal Blanc for the 2008 Estate Bottled Ice Wine. A hearty group of family, friends and employees gathered at 6:30 AM, and picked all the grapes within one hour. Thanks to all!

CHARDONNAY receives 83

Wine Enthusiast Magazine awards the Estate Bottled 2007 Chardonnay an 83 rating.

2009 Big E Wine Competition

267 wines judged and 54 wineries entered. Silver Medals were awarded to the Sachem's Picnic and Peach Wine.

BEST OF SHOW WINNER

The Amenti Del Vino Wine Competition brought us three medal winners. Most thrilling for us was the 2006 Vidal Blanc Ice Wine's Best of Show and Double Gold designation. Two other prize winners were the 2006 Chardonnay earning a Bronze Medal and the 2006 Night Owl with a Silver Medal.
