Wine tasting concludes 30 minutes prior to closing time. Closed Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Day.

Wine Tastings

Wine Tasting Our friendly and knowledgeable staff will guide you with your wine selections. Sample the many wines we offer and hear an explanation of the ingredients, winemaking techniques and suggestions for food accompaniments. Once you have tried them all, enjoy a glass of your favorite wine in Connecticut's first winery-established wine bar.

Wine Bar

Visit Hopkins Vineyard Sit back and admire the beauty of Lake Waramaug, all while enjoying a glass of wine in our wine bar. Located in the Hayloft of our 19th Century barn, the Wine Bar features a casual atmosphere of charming cafe tables with a stunning view of Lake Waramaug. Visitors can relax and enjoy our award-winning wines either by the glass or bottle along with a delicious selection of cheeses and country pâtés served with fresh bread.

Gift Shop

Visit Hopkins Vineyard Throughout the winery we have a wonderful variety of unique gift items as well as specialty items for the wine enthusiast. Some of our more popular items include: cork screws and stoppers, elegant wine bottle carriers, wine glasses, foil cutters, champagne stoppers, vacu pumps, drip stoppers, books on wine, and simple to ornate wine racks. We also carry a variety of gourmet food products and specialty teas. Our refrigerator is stocked with a delicious selection of cheese and pate. Take a picnic to go or relax outside and enjoy our breathtaking view of the vineyards.

Tours

Visit Hopkins Vineyard Guided tours include the grape growing process as pertains to our unique viticulture district. Your group will be taken through the winery and cellar where the winemaking process is explained. Groups are welcomed to walk the vineyards. Please contact us for more information or make a tour reservation.
